The area where our families live in Tondo is a squatter area, recently the land has been sold and the government has built new housing 4 hours away from Manila for qualifying parents.
Although the new housing is welcome it comes at an extremely disruptive time when some of our students are just about to start their university courses. In response we have rented, so far, three large rooms to convert into dormitory’s so that our college and university students can continue their courses.
We estimate the conversion of a room into a dormitory will cost £2,500 – all support for this project will be very gratefully received p-c-f.org/donate.
