We would like to extend our thanks to Mary Cooper of the Inner Wheel of Crewkeme who as well as being a PPS (Purple Product Seller) for us will also be opening her garden to raise funds for PCF under the Hardy Plant Society 60th Anniversary Gardens Open scheme.
Mary as International Service Organiser was so inspired by Janes talk at the District meeting that she decided to split the entrance money between HPS (Hardy Plant Society) and PCF (Purple Community Fund) for this opening.
The beautiful 1 acre garden and nursery at Lower Severalls farmhouse has a mix of traditional and unusual plants including hardy geraniums, salvias, lychnis, traditional and aromatic herbs. A Vegetable plot with shepherd’s hut and conservatory with tender plants.
The garden will be open from 11am-5pm on Sunday 25th June with an entrance fee of £2.50 (free for children). A selection of refreshments will be available as well as plants for sale and B&B if required.
If you are local or know someone who is please spread the word and get this date in your diary and go and pay Mary and her beautiful garden a visit.
