Jane was thrilled to meet Nicki Chapman at the Southport Rotary conference. Nicki was so impressed with our work she described it as an “outstanding project, beautiful products that you can see are made with so much pride and love and are giving women and their families a chance to live dignified lives“.
Nicki who worked her way up in the music industry from being a promotions assistant with a record company to a partner in a PR company managing and representing the likes of the Spice Girls, Kylie Minogue, Eric Clapton, Take That, David Bowie, Van Morrison and Phil Collins as well as PR for the BRIT Awards, various West End show and Big Breakfast.
Nicki rose to fame as a judge on the ITV reality programmes Popstars and Pop Idol making her a household name. She currently presents BBC programmes Escape to the Country, Wanted Down Under and the RHS Chelsea Flower Show. Nicki is now a DJ on BBC Radio 2 regularly sitting in for Vanessa Feltz on the early breakfast show.
As well as all this Nicki is also on the steering committee for Sports Relief and has travelled to Uganda and Ghana for the charity.
